Te Pae o Waimihia is a Forest Hapu Cluster Trust representing six Ngāti Tūwharetoa hapū - Ngāti Rauhoto, Ngāti Te Urunga, Ngāti Hineure, Ngāti Hinerau, Ngāti Tutetawha, and Ngāti Tutemohuta. It is our mission “To protect and grow the assets of the trust to support the intergenerational aspirations, wellbeing and cultural tikanga of the hapū of Te Pae o Waimihia”
Opepe Farm Trust has been on board as a grants contributor since 2024 - a natural collaboration, with most owners having whakapapa to Te Pae o Waimihia.
NEW REGISTRATIONS
To register with Te Pae o Waimihia you must have direct bloodline whakapapa to one or more of the six hapū. Once you have completed the first step of your registration, check your email, click the link and log back in using your user ID and password to complete the rest of your registration.
New registrations that are fully completed (that have direct bloodline whakapapa) will be reviewed and verified in our monthly verification committee hui. You will be notified via email when this has been reviewed.
